Delete your account

You can delete your Smaqa account at any time, even if you no longer have the app installed.

How to do it

  • Log in with the same account (email or Google).
  • Go to Profile → Delete account and confirm by typing DELETE.
  • Deletion is immediate.
Log in to delete

Can't access your account? Email smaqa.app@gmail.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete account". We will respond within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Account, email, name, and login credentials
  • Saved, liked, and passed restaurants, settings, and daily counters
  • Lists you own and recommendations
  • Group memberships and swipes; your name in group searches is replaced with "Deleted user"
  • Ad campaigns you created

What is kept

  • Accounting records (amount, date, transaction ID) for 7 years under Swedish accounting law — without any link to your account.
  • Backups until they are rotated out.
